Micron Fibreglass Sand Filters
Proven Strength and Durability

Micron fiberglass sand filters are constructed from a blow moulded inner shell of fibreglass reinforced polyester resin over wound with fibreglass filament.

Micron fiberglass sand filters operate on the basis of “depth filtration”; dirt is driven through the sand bed and trapped in minute spaces between the particles of sand. Cleansing the filter simply requires turning the filter’s Multiport lever from the "filter" position to the "backwash position, which reverses the flow of water in the filter, flushing the filter bed.

Trimline Cartridge Filters utilise a specially treated synthetic fabric which is pleated into a cartridge to provide 2.3 to 14.0 square metres of surface area in order to maximise the cartridge dirt holding capacity and extend the time between cleaning.

Multi-Cyclone Filter

Increase Pressure Filter Performance while Reducing Backwash Frequency

Increase the performance of your pressure filter by installing the Multi-Cyclone 50
pre-filter after the external pump. The
Multi-Cyclone 50 is a "Centrifugal, Solids Separation" pre-filter that literally spins particles (20-100 µm) out of suspension. They then settle inside the Multi-Cyclone's sediment bowl, where they remain until drained. Removing solids prior to the pressure filter decreases required cleaning frequencies and the amount of waste waster used.

NOTE: The Multi-Cyclone filter requires a high-performance pump (3450 RPM motor or better) in order function properly.
